Get On with Offroad Outlaws: Some Tips and Tricks
There are quite a few offroad games out there, but what sets Offroad Outlaws apart is the customization it offers. With more than a million downloads on the app store, Offroad Outlaws has been praised for its great graphics, challenging trails, huge map, a variety of vehicles and customizable options. You can level up and win cash, allowing you to upgrade your vehicle and enjoy the ultimate offroading experience. In order to help you optimize your tools and upgrade quickly, we’ve compiled a list of tips and tricks you can follow.
First Thing’s First, Buy A Quad Or A Truck
If you’re playing Offroad Outlaws for the first time, you will find yourself with enough cash to be able to purchase a truck and/or a quad. You can buy both or buy one and use the remaining cash for updates. If you can’t decide which to buy, think about what you prefer. The Truck is more balanced, but the Quad has more speed.
If you’re looking to earn some extra cash, you can complete a challenging trail; you can also earn bonus cash if you complete the trail within a given time limit. These trails are marked with green dots. These are mini races that you can complete to earn some bonus cash and upgrade your vehicle. The best part is, that there is no limit on the number of times you can race the trail, so keep trying until you perfect it.
Know Your Crawler Tunes
A basic setup to allow you to crawl anywhere requires you to do the following things:
- Fat tires
- Front trophy rear crawler
- 4.0 Low gear stiffness
- Back 4k
- Front 10k
- Travel all the way up
It’s advisable to learn as many gears as possible.
Getting through a bumpy wilderness can be challenging for most. Experiment with drives to find the one that works best for you. You can do this by changing your vehicle’s driving state by using the buttons at the top left corner of your screen. The three buttons perform the following functions:
- The first button allows you to shift between high gear and low gear. With the high gear, you have more power and speed, but the low gear allows you to have better control and traction.
- You can control the spinning of your wheels with the help of the button that has four wheels on it. This will help you balance your vehicle and your speed.
- You can use the green wheels button to shift among Front Wheel Drive, Rear Wheel Drive, and Four Wheel Drive. The FWD allows you to have balanced driving by shifting the power to the front of the vehicle, while the RWD shifts the power to the back of the vehicle. The 4WD gives you a nice balance between these two modes.
Another feature which you can experiment includes the Drivetrain feature. This allows you to power up your vehicle’s stats. It allows you to fine tune specific features of the vehicle, enabling it to excel at certain functions.
These are of course some tips and tricks that work for some people, and not for others. You need to experiment and find out the ones that work best for you! Go on! The trails await you!
